EasyVRayCameraAlongPath

4 votes

This script allows you to draw a spline and automates the process of linking a new VRayCamera and path constraining it to the spline, setting the keyframes for animating from 0 to 100 percent along the spline, and setting the tangents for that motion to "ease in" and "ease out". Very straightforward, and makes the process much quicker.

Smooth Bridge v2.1

3 votes

Smooth Bridge 2.1 modifier is able to bridge two open edgeloops in a very smooth way, even with uneven edge count. Version 2.1 presents a completely new joining algorithm, which can seamlessly bridge two loops with notably different shapes.

Previously it was only a part of Smooth Boolean plugin, but with this update you can also buy it as a separate plugin.

EditVertexDirect

This is the replacement script of the standard script triggered from the "1" key. Yes, is goes to the vertex level for editing vertices. But makes this in more smart way. If you have a lot of modifiers above your base object typically after pressing the 1 key you get into editing the first sub-object level of the modifier. But we need editing vertices. Along with base objects it also picks the upper edit_poly or similar modifier. Version 0.4 seems to be polished enough.

Multi-Dimensional Array Support

15 votes

A set of functions that let you work with multi-dimensional arrays of any size/shape in maxscript.

It works by using 2 variables to represent a multi-dimensional array.
Lets call them:

JMIMdat = #(5,5,5,10)
JMIMarr = #(...)

JMIMdat:
Is an array holding the slot dimensions of your multi-dimensional array.
In this case, it is a 4 dimensional array.

JMIMarr:
Is the corresponding array to be treated as a multidimensional array.
JMIMarr.count = (5x5x5x10)
