This script allows users to swiftly export their models and keep track of the modular pieces in their environment within 3Ds Max.

The plugin has two major features right now. First is the initial setup, which allows the user to create a player reference model and setup Unreal Grid Sizes and Units.

The second is the Environment Manager. Which allows the user to keep control of the modular pieces they want to export to UDK.

Convert Selection To Edge Border

This is for people who do lots of Edge Extrude - just use a lasso selection or paint selection (or whatever u like) to select some stuff around the border. Run the script. and wollaahh it has selected your outer border from the selection you did.

This script will create a rollout very similar to the default 'Select By Name' tool however with a few key features:
1) Non-Modal - so it can be left open and will update/sync with the selection.
2) Added Hide - Freeze and Delete to the rollout.

I wrote this script for a CGI animation short film I'm working on, for which I needed a fast and simple way to build a very modular environment, while still retaining control over everything.

This script gives you that control:

pick your source geometry, increase/decrease the slider values after selecting whether you want copies or instances, and either collapse or create controllers, or both.
you can create one parent controller and a child controller for each instance, or just one parent, or just only children.

compatible only with editable poly objects.

Collection of scripts to aid in polymodelling. This package includes scripts like Slide which slides an edgeloop towards either of it's neighbours. Dissolve - a collection of Laszlo's scripts. Untangle - which takes one selected poly and turns it into a perfect Ngon. MakePoly which lets you select a bunch of vertices and click the button to make a polygon.

this script is intended to ease material library maintenance. you can add materials to the library and write commetns for them. you have a folder structure on your HDD, which represents material categories, and you have one file per material. so you can change structure and move materials by working with folders and files. so you need to define a working path in the code.
