This free 3Ds Max script will randomize the wire color of selected objects. In this script, I have opted to use softer pastel colors, akin to Blender colors.

The script can prove useful when you've imported a CAD model where all wireframes are sometimes black or when detached geometry has numerous parts with the same wire color, making it challenging to distinguish between the detached parts.

In this video, we will see how to show the hidden edges and make them permanently visible to be used in Editable Poly. Also, and quickly, we will learn how to use the Quadrify tool in Editable Poly to create quad faces out of Non-Quad faces. This tool doesn't have 100% success result all the time, it depends on the object's mesh, but it will try its best. In many cases, it's 100% successful.

Takes any selection and deselects objects at random based on a weight. Good for selecting random objects from a set and then later applying modifiers or materials to them.

This utility converts a bitmap to grayscale and displays its pixels as planes. The planes are rotated depending on their grayscale value. There is a option to animate the rotation to fade in the image.

Use this script to create a point at the selected object(s) center then link that object(s) to the newly created point.

Silhouette Viewer

This script displays the silhouette of objects by pressing a button.
The mechanism is to change the object color to white and change the viewport's shading display to object color mode.
If you press the button again or close the script, the display will also return.
