Export Cleaner

This free scripted modifier plugin is designed to clean up some things in a mesh to make it export more cleanly.

This can be helpful in situations where you have either applied multi-channel mapping to an object or used Vertex Paint on it, and later detached elements into other nodes--leaving unused mapping vertices in the node. With this modifier, you can remove those vertices without collapsing the stack, which might be beneficial depending on what you are doing.

Tuned up the search...

With drupal you can weight the default search engine with 4 different qualities - keywords, views, comments and date. I've reworked the weights and made keyword results significantly more important than the rest which in my tests is generating much more accurate search results. Give it a shot...

UI_Hide_UnSelected_or_SubObjectSelection.ms

This script combines the hide unselected and hide poly/mesh command into one hotkey.If an editable poly or editable mesh is selected and it is in subobject mode then it will hide the unselected poly/mesh components.Otherwise the script will hide the unselected objects (as the hide unselected command does in max)

Imageholder & Noteholder

Two little and maybe use full scripts ...

Imageholder:
- load an image and makes an window in Max for it
Don't take a ultra high res pic, it's not scaleable.

Noteholder:
- load's an editable *.txt file in an extra window in Max

So, ever wanted to write your own Volume Select modifier. Well, we are sharing a set of compounds with a sample modifier for that purpose :).

So we have taken two approaches to the problem: a “dummy” approach, and a mathematical correct one.

Simple util that creates visual helpers linked to your lights that mirror the colour of the light in both wireframe and material colour. Cap of helper indicates multiplier.

How to use:
select the camera you want to export (target cameras only), set the time range, select the file output path and click "Export".. that's it.

Note:
be sure to select the right working units for the exporter to export data correctly
