this script will calculate the height based on a degree input the result height valur is automatically copied to clipboard.

it will be usefull to create slopes for example based on degree value

I created for my personal use maybe it will be usefull for some else :) hope u like it if so please vote up.

 

# Installation:

1-extract files

2-copy ElevByDeg.mse to 3dsmax\script folder

A quick script to aid in setting up a turntable render for your assets.

Press go.

Set the frame rate

Set the animation length.

The spline rotation allows you to set the start position

Regardless of animation range only performs 360 dgrees of travel

Added Slidertime to 0 on reset

Vray ambient occlusion

This script renders an ambient occlusion pass with VRay from any scene - without changing anything. There is no need to prepare the scene in any way either.

VRay 1.5 or higher is required for the script to run!
If you are using VRay 1.46, there is an older version available, without dirtmap features.

 

Area Light

This script is basically just a way for me to remove some of the time it take for me to do them manually. Its very simple right now - but I hope to expand on it as time goes by. It basically just lets you create and manage an 'array' of lights very simply. Resolution of the light is set with the amount of segments on the plane.

Delete Duplicate SubMaterial and Replace unique ID for each poly

Delete all doublon and reassign unique id for each poly.

This useful little script combines commonly used macros for modelling into a single context based macro. So you need to remember only one key instead of many shortcuts (I recommend spacebar). The idea: Most actions will only be called in certain conditions. If you select open edges you probably want to bridge, if you select one vertex target welding is a good guess, and if nothing is selected you might want to add geometry by using cut or swift loop...

Teensy little script that creates a geometry cone that mimics the camera cone. It creates a pyramid - and does some wiring to make it match the camera - and stay matched - even if you animate the position - and fov. The purpose of the geometry is to use in a mesh vol select to pass up the stack to modify an object/faces only when they are in view of the camera.
