The rapid Soft Selection Manager is a tool for managing soft selections. You can store, add, subtract, multiply and divide soft selections, based on their values. You can even copy soft selection values between objects, based on their vertex indices. This script is free to use, and will be the part of the rapidTools toolset, with other useful scripts.

Adds an option to your display quad menu to isolate by layer.

Works with your object selection. Hides all layers that none of the objects in your selection belong to.

 

 

 

PRT Updater/Manager

A tool I wrote to manage multiple PRT Loaders in a scene. It was especially useful for updating files when I was using one cache for multiple loaders with an offset, since Instancing wasn't an option. Aside from that, there are simple controls to update some of the main PRT Loader attributes quickly and on multiple loaders.

This MAXScript will generate the Mandelbrot set using a 2D array of cubes. I made it purely for fun, but want to share it in case someone else finds it useful.

Simple Key Shifter 1.5

Instructions are given in the help button

 

Now in version 1.5 the script support Transformation Keyframes, Visibilty Keyframes and Modifiers Keyframs

Saves a dated and versioned file in a parallel 'archive' folder alongside the original max file in this format:

originalMaxFileName_YYYY-MM-DD_VV.max
