Harry's Proxy Creator

This script is very similar to a script Jason Schleifer wrote from Maya, it allows you to split a predefined object into several segments based on the transforms of special cutter objects, these segments can then be linked back into a skeleton hierarchy. The advantage of displaying segmented geometry in the viewport rather than the skinned mesh is that you get faster playback speeds.

When you evaluate this script it create a new "Category" in the "Customize User Interface" window called "Harry's Proxy Creator" where you'll find the tool

Hello guys!

This is my second script that i wrote in maxscript.

Book Master is a script for book creation inside 3ds max.
It creates high detailed 3d books.

Just released version 1.2 of my PowerCoreTools CPU managment script for 3ds Max

A tool to control CPU usage while 3ds Max is rendering. Automatically sets process priority and affinity ( the number of  CPU cores the render process uses) at render start. Restores the initial settings when the rendering is done. Can be configured to run in a complete transparent  No-UI mode, which is launched right after 3ds Max has started.
This keeps your workstation responsive for other tasks while rendering. A second 3ds Max session stays responsive and can be used to continue work on different tasks.

Merge GUI

A GUI for merging .max files from selected directories  quickly.

GUI has  image buttons that works if  a .jpg   render of the max file is present in the directory. Rendered thumbnail  must have the same name with corresponding max file, and  must not  be larger than 120*120 pixels. Script installs  a macro  under DragAndDrop category named "Merge GUI".

Make sure to backup your scene before running the script!

Carver and Make Hollow

Carver is a set of functions for carving up objects into other objects, similar to using ProBooleans but different in that the results are parts broken up into convex pieces (provided that the original object is convex).

It also has a function to turn any Convex object into a hollow version of itself (similar to the results of the Shell modifier) except that the results are broken into convex pieces.
