Do you want to link objects to vertex-positions of any geometry-object aka pinning them to the surface of the object? And do you want it as simple, fast and efficient as the default max link tool? Then try this one.

It handles like the 3DsMax link tool in that you first pick the child object and then the point on the surface of the parent object. The child object is then linked to this position on the surface at renderTime and realtime. To unLink an object again just select it and press the UnLink button.

While i was modeling a cinema i needed a quick way to place instances of a seat all over the place so i wrote this little script.
It aligns Copys/Instances of an object to another objects vertexes, that way i only had to pull a few splines and was done with the seats.

As its only a small tool i dont plan to include it into my ToolSet but for its usefulness i thought others could use it too to save some time so i upload it here.

I made this tool to help me quickly crack up an object while maintaining material ids and uvs for the outside surface and inner fractures. it simply creates a series of planes with noise and probooleans them from the object. works pretty well, though i did add a backup button for incase a bad boolean operation happens.

Limitations include: this tool only works on one piece of geometry at a time.

Modifier Auto-Select

This is a tool I put together because sometimes you have to work with modifiers on multiple nodes and the modifiers aren't at the very top of the stack. You’re constantly having to select the node and then selecting the proper modifier. Prime example of this is when you have a turbosmooths on top of all of your geometry while you are either skinning or modelling. It would be much easier, and save quite a bit of time, if every time you selected a node you just automatically were on the skin modifier or edit poly modifier.
