Rotate UVs

This script was requested in one bulgarian forum.

The main purpos of it is to find the longest edge of the selected UV island and rotate that island around this edge on predefined angle.

You can align selected UVs horizontally or vertically around the selected edge(this can be the longest edge or the any other edge).

dwTools is a set of few handy scripts for 3dsmax, that I made to speed up repetitive operations at work.

Change priority

With change priority you can set Max to start either with "Low" or with "Normal" priority. With this feature you can prevent from freezing your PC under heavy calculations such as Rendering.

Poly Random ID

Hi

This is just a modification of Jon Seagull's script to randomize poly IDs on an editably poly, but you can choose the number of adjacent polygons it randomizes. Meaning, that it can randomize groups of polygons and not just single polygons. Very useful with polys with lots of similar elements, like Ivy Generator and trees, in which you randomize the elements to have different kinds of leaves.

Wide Ratio Camera Tool

The Wide Ratio Camera Tool creates a camera rig that overrides the project's image output ratio.

Example :

- The final output image is for tv (HDTV 1280x720) : ratio 1.77.
- We want to display some 2.35 ratio for a "movie effect".

It works with 3dsmax's default cameras (free and target), and VrayPhysicalCameras.
The ratio is handled by a Custom Attribute in the created "c" helper.
The masks are properly wired : the ratio and the camera's focal length can be animated.
