Open All Bitmaps

The script is used to open all bitmaps on any selected objects in Photoshop. When first run the script will ask you for the location of Photoshop; which it then stores in 3dmax.ini. If Photoshop is moved the script will ask you to reconfirm the location. When pressed Photoshop is launched and bitmaps on selected object are opened.

Step Pyramid

Usage:
Step Pyramid is in the "Create/Geometry" tab in the "Scripted Primitives" menu

Smooth to Prevalent Smoothing Group

Works in face sub-object level of editable polygon base objects.
Assigns the prevalent smoothing group found within the current selection of faces to the entire selection of faces (removing any other smoothing groups).

Feel free to modify as you like.

Quick Pivot

This is only my small version of quick pivot.

New: Dual Shortcut - short / long click:
  1. quick press shortcut for less then 0.5 s - Quick default Pivot witout menu
  2. hold shortcut - popup menu (or hold Shift + press toolbar button)

To choose default option (hold Ctrl while choosing from popup menu)

This method  I developed to save shortcuts - to use one for 2 options / scripts (with short click or long)
I can publish it as a open code if anybody is iterested in. Let me know.

Create Animation Bounding Box

Script I built to work with Fume FX, but can probably be used for many other things.
The idea is that I wanted to roughly work out the entire dimensions of a characters animation, so a bounding box - of the entire animation.
Lets say I have a character running, and jumping, and falling over - and I want him to be on fire, this tool will track all of the dimensions of the character for the entire animation duration and build a bounding box representing the exact area he's covered.
This way I can create a fairly accurate Fume FX container that isn't wasting space.

BREAD CRUMBS CLONER

A simple Cloning and Marking script specifically meant to help animate walks, runs, slow ins, slow outs etc.  This will Clone or mark an object and offset the clone an equal distance from original as from another specified object and on the same vector. In The New Version 3 the Distance Can Now Be Captured and Marked From Any Position . Also Divide or multiply the distance by any amount and set the clones or markers to those distances.
