reduce

I have a question. I am looking for something like "Reduce" in Maya, that is much better than "Optimize" or "ProOptimize" in Max, because it keeps the loops and quads, and the good topology.
This script only works with meshes after turbosmooth. But if is a different mesh or with variations, doesn´t work. At least for me for many objects.
Do you know any script for Max to do Reduce like in Maya? Thanks in advance!

@evilmpire It seams that

@evilmpire It seams that ribbon functions don't work in 2010 even thought It has the ribbon. Well then it just works in 2011 and 2012. The category didn't appeared because the mzp file just copied the macro and then didn't run it, I need to investigate why.

And now to the big annoucement, everybody wanted this feature, and now you have it, well not right now, later, it is still in development. See the sneak peak bellow.

max 2k10

Thanks for the script, but I get an error in max 2010 sp1 x64: -- Unknown property: "NumericVertex" in undefined

Then viewport becomes unresponsive and 3dsmax has to be restarted.

edit: I also had to restart 3dsmax in order to get the "obliviboy" panel to show in the customize menu, both in max 2k10 and 2k11.

Thanks berdinatilli for reporting that bug. It was just duplicated line of code in the script, fixed now in 1.33.

thank you obliviboy for the

thank you obliviboy for the icon.

but unfortunately 1.32 seams to have now a problem, i was testing every version since 1.2 that way:
by creating a box, applying turbo-smooth with some interations and finally collapsing it to poly for applying you script, now it creates an non-existent object.

btw, i tested it in max2011 & 2012 64bit
