 Introducing VFB+ v2.81, the advanced virtual frame buffer for Autodesk 3dsmax.

VFB+ works with any renderer which uses the native 3dsmax frame buffer, such as Scanline, Mental Ray, Final Render, IRay, VRay, Corona (when not using the renderer's custom VFB).

The frame buffer has been designed and heavily tested to fit smoothly into any production pipeline, and to streamline the rendering workflow for anyone who renders in 3dsmax.

Version 2.8 is the most powerful and feature packed release yet!

Some errors with saved images

Error 1 - Image counter doesn't increase if I have in preferences 'Store rendered images when VFB+ is disabled' unchecked.

Error 2 - Set 'Maximum images to store' to 3. Render 2 images. Toogle A/B. Set B as 1 or 2. Keep rendering few more images. You will get 'Missing Image' error instead of image, because previous file was overwritten.

Render issue

Thanks for the report, there seems to be an issue caused by triggering the render from a dotnet handler. I fixed this and it will be included in the next release.

When ctrl+ shift region

When ctrl+ shift region render, Cancle render very slowy ,can't end Immediately, wait a long time, why ?
I use vray 1.50 sp2 render.

Can you please give me more information? I do not get this error, nor has anyone else reported it.

Can you please send me private message with this information:
1) Windows version
2) 3dsmax version
3) output from maxscript listener when you write "callbacks.show()"

You are right ,tif file format is fastest.

Error when delete first file in stored images

I've set 'Maximum images to store' to 10. When I have rendered 10 images and try to render next one I have an error:
MAXScript Garbage Collection Error
My temp folder for stored files is c:\Temp.
Update: I receive the same error when I try to delete images manually by Delete button on toolbar.

There is a problem with IE or some download managers that save the file as zip.

That's odd. It downloads as .mzp for me. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Downloaded file saved with .zip extension by some reason. I have figured out that I have to rename it to .mzp extension.
