VertexPlacer

"VertexPlacer 3 is now also a vertex Quantiser (similar to Lightwave Modellers 'Quantise'). It allows you to place a selection of vertices at a specific place on a plane - snap to the nearest given spacing - or snap to the nearest grid point. Vertexplacer works on the vertices of Meshes - Polygons and splines.
Vertexplacer 3 is based on Vertexplacer 2 by Neil Blevins and requires Bslib.ms"

This is a WIP function collection to make the working with structs in maxScript easier.
It's kinda inspired by: 1.Garp's Primitive maker in that you can quickly reDefine structs and 2.the lack of functions provided by maxScript.

The only functions in it so far are:

  • addVar - add a property to a struct
  • gotProperty - the equivalent of hasProperty or isProperty functions for a struct

Let me know what kind of functions you'd like to see in here

A 3ds max 4 version of the R3 script (which used to be a RCmenu).
Select a single geometry object, click button, pick a normal on the surface of the object by clicking and holding the mouse, release mouse to set view. NOTE: Does not work as Action Item for QuadMenus yet. (Bug in MouseTrack?)

This macroscript lets rename the selected object without switching to Modif-Panel. Handy - if you have to rename a lot of objects without a common name-structure.
