Can we have a preview from saved material

I liked this plugin I havent try it, so i want to ask if can you make a preview from saved material? to know how material looks and make it like a library and does it save the jpeg or image files into a new folder?

Are they doable?

I understand now what you are

Great ideas, you have two ideas here right?

Apply materials based on previous materials names on objects instead of object name. Is that correct?

Your second request is, Saving and Loading UV modifiers and displacement?

Currently your script applies

Try II :)
Currently your script applies materials from preset based on recipient's mesh name. Am I right?
Could it OPTIONALLY apply materials based on recipient(s) MATERIAL name?

Currently your script saves and re-applies materials ONLY. Is it possible (OPTIONALLY) to capture
modifiers as well? And re-apply BOTH materials AND modifiers? Imagine your pollows have UVW and VrayDisplacement modifiers. Can they (mats+modifiers) be saved and applied on pillows in another file?

Easy saving and reapplying

Easy saving and reapplying materials is nice, but if you still need to copy the UVW-mapping and other material related modifiers, it does not make much sense. Than it is much easier to load a standard max-file with existing materials and let it override all scene materials. Much faster. I guess therefore the question for modiffier-support.

I'm not sure i understand

I'm not sure i understand what you are asking.

Instancing of materials is still supported. I'm not sure i understand you suggestion regarding modifiers and materials based on material names...?

Looks good!Would it be

Looks good!
Would it be possible to expand it by adding
modifiers support (say VrayDisplacement and UVWMap) and reapplying materials based on materials names* (instead of object names)?
*-If material is a patr of of other MultiSubObject Mat it'd be instanced accordingly.
Thank you
