The script will create a fully rigged Crane or Jibrig with a camera attached. This is useful for creating some nice camera movements for interior shots, product visualizations etc. that simulates real life rigs.

This version is very customizable. You can change the scale, height and length of the rig arm, allthough this can only be done before you hit the rig button.

Merge Selected faces into one by removing the inner edges.

USAGE
Working with hundreds of rippling objects that carry complex modifier stacks can be slow. Why not point cache the first object and then simply offset the timing of the rest? This small script was developed during internal animation tests at Digital Kitchen to expedite the creation of time-delayed animations.

INSTRUCTIONS
Create an object and apply a point cache modifier to it.
Duplicate that object around your scene

I saw this thread and decide to make a script. :)

Then Syphorlate show a very elegant solution for quadratic extrusion and I add it to the script.

This is the final version of this script. Any future development of smart extrusion is in Syphorlate hands.

Spline-2-Poly v2.x is a UI-driven MaxScript for Autodesk 3DS Max which can be used to create editable polygon meshes from closed loops of 3- or 4-splines.

The video previews show the basic functionality of Spline-2-Poly:

The first shows how meshes are created, modified, imported etc.
The second show additional right-click functionality which was added after the initial video was uploaded.
