hi all

this was done for a very certain task...
i'm working with team mates who work in maya platform while most of the work is done by 3ds max and it plugins..and i work on both but better at 3ds max..

If you ever tried to export an FBX file from maya to max you will suffer from two or three basic things,
1: all materials are phong with high specular
2: some maps were defined in maya in som way that max understands them as maps with map channel != 1,then the need a uvw mapping
3: some faces problems

fixing these in a very big scene could be very painful

RenderPreset operator for LPM 1.09+
- Stores render's parameters.
- Support all possible renderers.

*Allows you to solve this bug .
*Also allows you avoid Biped & Render Preset bug which returned since max 9 sp1 which was fixed. ( Using Render Presets on a file where a biped was present and motion mixer contains clips would result in a corrupt file when saved. (max 2011 x64 sp1) )

Texture Usage

Shows the area used by each texture from selected MultiSubMaterial.
Might be useful for level-designers at optimization stage.

- select your MultiSubMaterial in MaterialEditor
- select one or several objects(EPoly) using that material
- drag script to viewport

clothBatchSim

This is a simple way to simulate multiple cloth simulations in 3ds Max in one go. It will find all cloth modifiers in your current selection of objects and simulate them one after another, thus you don't have to start each manually.

 
After simulation it will show start and end time, so you can see how long the process took.
