Steamroller unwraps every objects in a selection using Max's built-in flatten function based on the specified parameters. Steamroller is mainly intended as a quick and dirty method of quickly unwrapping lightmap UVs on large sets of objects, similar to the automatic unwrap in Render to Texture.

Sanitize Object Names

Removes special characters from object names which can cause issues with network rendering. These often appear when bringing in a model from Revit.

- Inch and feet characters (" and ') are replaced with in and ft.
- Both 's and s' are replaced with s.
- Most other common special characters are currently replaced with underscores.

Bake vertex position from modifier stack

I was wondering on how I could achieve a footstep-like effect on a mesh without some fancy softbody/physics/plugin-action, and I came up with this script. It basically bakes the vertex position from the modifierstack on each frame to a keyframed editable_poly object. It keyframes only the modified part of the mesh, and does not change it back, hence the "track-effect". See the example image:

It works only on animation made by transformation like move, rotation and scale.

This script copy original object, rid of any animation and controllers from copy then apply transformation from original object to copy frame by frame with animation record turned on.

"ToTex" is a render to texture script that gives you the ability to quickly bake multiple textures to a folder. ToTex will start baking all the selected objects with the chose selections and will save it to the specified folder
