HCG Asset Browser is now BOA Asset Browser

Rewritten in Qt to work with current versions of 3ds Max -> Still free.

What it does:

  • Browse and generate thumbnails for your models, materials and textures.
  • Add assets to the scene in a few clicks.
  • Paint geometry with a model from your library.
  • Apply materials with automatic UVW mapping.
  • Replace scene models with another of your choice.

but unfortunately i get this error " --Runtime error:dotnet runtime exception: An attempt was made to load an assembly from a network location which would have caused the assembly to be sandboxed in preious versions of .Net Framework. This release of the .Net framework does not enable CAS policy by default, so this load may be dangerous. if this load is not intended to sandbox the assembly, please enable the loadfromremoatesources swtich. see http://go.micsrosoft.com/fwlink/?linkId=155569 for more information"

could u see into it? i tried to fix it but no chance

I know I am not the first one around here, but I am dying to have a 2014 version. Any chance it would happen? Just starting on a massive project and can't live without HCG.

Max Design 2014

Ola Francisco,

Any chance to make it work on Max Design 2014 version?

This is just what we need to organize our massive library, can't wait to start use it!

Search bar,

Hi, do you think you could add a search bar??
I have a lot of 3ds max files to search but it could be very helpful to have a search bar that you could just type what you search and drag it to my 3ds max scene.
