Proxy Edit

This is a script that enables editing of VRayProxy objects instantly in the scene they are currently.

It is easy to use:

1. Drop the .ms file in the viewport to run the script. A dialog appears.

2. Click the Pick proxy button and select a proxy from the scene. It becomes a editable mesh with material applied.

3. You can change geometry, uvw mapping, apply modifiers etc.

Selection sets depend on the naming of scene objects.


*export of actual selected objects as selection set
*export of all selection sets in scene
*import of exported SelectionSet files (.txt)
*import several files (.txt)

*set name of export file
*paste or browse export path, otherwise it will choose the actual Max folder

Revit importer

A tool to import and update model in 3dsmax from other softs.
This tool is available for Revit, Archicad, Sketchup and Rhino.

From all of this softs you get in 3dsMax geometries based on the materials.
You get 1 mesh per material. Instead of various results.
(for ex. instead of 1 mesh per Revit construction elements from Revit if you use standard import, you get here 1 mesh per Revit material)
Also there is a problem of scale with standard FBX import that makes it impossible to have correct UVWMaps. This is fixed here.

Camera I/O

Camera Import Export tool. This script makes possible camera transfer between MAYA MAX and LIGHTWAVE.  Suported properties are Position, Orientation, Lens, Render W/H, FilmBack, Aspect ratios. Final result is 100% match in render image. Camera is with preserved  time and mesurment UNITS, Corect Up axis.

Now The final release is done (i hope). I did 2 versions of the script, furst is constrain based transfer (motion blur and gimble lock issue), other version is rotation based. Both do the same.
