3rd version of Project Manager gains a lot of new features for management 3D Assets. 
There is most unique from them – the ability to assign custom previews to materials, associate files with materials, and create a gallery of files associated with any type of assets including materials. 
You can also write a description for material and, of course, add materials to favorites.

QuickCollapse is a maxscript Struct with a few functions to speed up collapsing large numbers of objects, it provides feedback in the listener window so you can see progress as it goes.

Run script will trigger ‘CollapseSelected’ on your current selection. there isn’t much Error Checking involved, so filter your selection for meshes, and remeber that it SHUTS UNDO OFF for the collapse so that we dont have RAM overruns on large objectsets, so save/hold first eh?

Import and update models coming from Archicad, Revit, Sketchup, Rhino3d or Autocad while retaining all work done in 3dsmax (applied materials, modifiers, properties and transformations)
Models coming from your CAD/BIM program will be imported, cleaned and reorganized to result in one mesh per material. On the next import all materials and modifiers applied in 3dsmax are copied onto the new model.

This script merges the functions of Archicad Importer, Revit Importer and Sketchup Importer.

It's always annoyed me that I couldn't copy objects from one instance of max and paste them into another - as I work with 2 or 3 instances of max up at a time. It's tedious to do a save selected / merge objects so this script does it for you. It's not a TRUE copy/paste via the windows clipboard - but it will let you very quickly copy objects from one file to another.

Using the FilePathFinder you can be sure that you have complete control over external links into your scenes.

Asset tracking features include support for XREF files and easy linking with external files.

Using the FilePathFinder (and Batch Render&Relink), you can search for missing assets and relink external files.

In addition, files that are linked to selected objects are displayed in Interactive Mode, and bitmap textures can be toggled and placed within the Material Editor.

TOCollectoREX is utility replacing and supplementing standard Resource Collector.

**IMPORTANT**
After more than 10 years I've finally decided to turn collectorex from internal utility to a public open source project. In the beginning it was paid utility, now it's completely free and not binded to hardware. Please feel free to edit code and commit here, use it as you like, distribute it freely, I just don't allow to sell my software as your own. That's it.

It allows gather all scene resources together, put them in specified place, find where all missing files are used (exactly in which objects). It can find which files in specified place are no longer used by scene. It also allows convert bitmaps to jpg, etc.
Utility supports XRefs of all types and processes all scenes linked to current.
Unlike all other such scripts, it really finds all resources (images, HDR-images, Vray meshes, IES-files, shaders), not only some bitmaps (Relink Bitmaps, Resource Collector). Below there is full description.
