NameManager is designed to automate naming the elements of architectural constructors  e.g. wall segments, floor elements, etc
The process of naming is executed by pressing predefined buttons in rollouts. New name for an assets is comprised of these elements and is displayed in "NEW NAME" window. Press DONE when done - object will become named.

The naming scheme is defined by database.txt  file. The script was created for Unreal Engine, so example database has SM/SK prefixes.

Database syntax is the following:
Rolloutname #  button1/ button2/button3 ..... buttonN;

Instalation

Unpack the archive into the directory  C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 2016\scripts

Run script Start_NameManager.mcr from NameManager folder

Customize User Interface -> Toolbars->G_Tools->Name_manager
