Material Override Excluder

Do you use the Vray Material Override to do chalk renders and wish that it would allow you to exclude certain materials? Like VRayLightMtl and any refractive materials like glass? Well now you can using this little script. It sets up a Shell Material which allows you to switch from one material setup to another. So even if those pesky VRayLightMtls and refractive materials are within Multi-sub materials then you’ll still be able to exclude them. Give it a go, test it out and let me know how it works for you!

Wide Ratio Camera Tool

The Wide Ratio Camera Tool creates a camera rig that overrides the project's image output ratio.

Example :

- The final output image is for tv (HDTV 1280x720) : ratio 1.77.
- We want to display some 2.35 ratio for a "movie effect".

It works with 3dsmax's default cameras (free and target), and VrayPhysicalCameras.
The ratio is handled by a Custom Attribute in the created "c" helper.
The masks are properly wired : the ratio and the camera's focal length can be animated.

Vray AutVel Materials

This tool help you to create with a single click a long list of materials, like glass, metal, plastic(under construction), organic and so on. This is an improvement of the "vraymtlPresets" macro of Regimantas Valiukas (aka Siger): I've added some materials for override in global switches in order to create passes like Wireframe, Ambient Occlusion, Clay render...
The plastics I've added are currently unavailable because they are under construction.
Feel free to use this tool whenever you need. This is an open source project for my degree (Industrial Design, Rome).
