It's quite usefull when you receive ACAD models that come with the 'Global' material (the one that unifies everything in gray), and want to reset all to the very begining.

I'm glad, you like this tool. Aye, this 'Global' raytrace material messes things up often, especially if you're working with V-Ray.
You might have noticed that I updated and extended the script a bit more. Feel free to use it.

I cant seem to get mine to work. Im using max 2009 64bit, no clues as to why it wont work. Any ideas to what the problem could be? or is there a proper place for such questions?

Its a macroscript. you cant just run it like a normal maxscript.
with windows explorer, put it in max folder\ui\macroscripts and then also drag it on to max (nothing will appear to happen)
then in the customize>customize user interface dialog under categories you will find "tobyatwork_scripts" and it will be there. you can add it to a quad or menu or whatever you like.
