Just make your objects more readable in the viewport.
Yes, this is NOT a random color generator!
The utility adjust RGB channels of objects wirecolor.
The purpose is clear (I hope).

Additional Info:

[*] Tested on 3ds Max 2009
* (should work with any version)

did you look in utility panel?

from your words I have the feeling that you never used scripted utilities, you'll find my tool into Utility Panel > MAXScript > dropdown menu item: 'Contrastive Wire Color' ;)

doesn't work in 1012

no errors. it just doesn't work for me: I run the script and nothing happens (no matter if the geometry selected or not).
