For people who work often with Objects ID, this script may make it easier. It allows you to see which objects have ID, to select objects by ID, assign a ID and all this without entering in properties of the objects.

Version: 2.34

  • Add "Assign ID by Layers" button
  • Add Option to Assign Wirecolor by ID

Create Render Elements Button

Hello,

Nice script as usual, But what could be nice, is to have a "create Render Elements" button, to create automatically the MultimatteElements based on the id count.

it would be great if this script can also add

multimatte render elements like say 20-60 so it will just create elements 3 ids per element.

Thanks for the script

I encountered a problem that i cannot assign an id over 255 through your script(and Assign Random ID does even less). My scenes contain thousands of objects and each should have an unique id according to the studio's pipeline.

random ID but not random for instances?

Hi. Could be possible to assign a random ID for selected objects, but if you would select some instances in your selection, those instances woud have the same ID but random to other objects? Also if you would select just one or two instances, that ID would be applied to unselected "brothers" of those instances? Thanks Tomas
