Mass Parameter Changer

Version:
02b4
Date Updated:
03/21/2009

(macroScript)

Description:
Changes same parameter to same value in all selected objects (in which property exists).

Compatibility:
This script has been tested in 3ds max 2009 x64.
I'm pretty sure it won't work in versions previous to 9, because dotnet (which this script makes use of for the Tree View) was not supported.

Setup:
Execute mcr file from 3ds max.
Go to "Customize > Customize User Interface".
In Category "MayecTools" you will find "Mass Parameter Changer" which you can drag to a toolbar to have as a button, or associate it with a hotkey, etc.

Version Requirement:
tested in 3ds max 2009. Won't work in versions previous to 9, because they lack dotnet support.

I don't know why you couldn't have access. Did you get any error messages?

Thanks for bringing up your script anyway. It does indeed more or less the same things mine does, but is a bit more complete. I guess mine won't make it past 0.2b4. ;)
