Mobius Strip
Interesting concept, i was wondering what would happen as you make the strip more and more 3D?
What if the strip would to become more donut shape, more of a toroid shape? Wouldn't it be like taking the toroid and chopping it twisting one end through 180 degrees (or both ends 90 degrees away from each other) and sticking it back together again? In true life the resulting shape would depend on the flexibility of the material but as a generation it could just look like a toroid still depending on how flexible you make the imaginary material. Could be an interesting twist to the equation.

Thanks for you input! I needed to make the mobius script and thought it would make an interesting script. I will look into expanding it to have adjustable parameters.

Hi.
Firstly, great concept and something I've always liked is the theory of an infinate plane!
I've looked at your scripting and think it's a very complex way of creating such an object but it works.
I started looking in to scripting a Mobius Strip but giving options to the user for length, segments, amount of twists etc. I'd suggest you try doing that.
You can esily create a mobius strip by drawing a plane, twisting it 180 degrees and then bending it 360 degrees! You can then weld and shell accordingly.
These attributes can then be compiled in to a script so the user can create a mobius with two twists or with 100 length segments! Or one that is a strip 5 meters long by 1 metre wide with 20 twists is they wanted to!
