Paint Pot

Updateds!

  • I just added support for Corona materials.
  • I have just added the RAL colour codes, I am considering adding the Panton colours if there is interested.

Paint Pot is a really simple script intended to make it easier when dealing design schemes from architects and designers. It has a database of about 15000 thousand paints which can be looked up by name or paint code. When you selected a paint it will display a swatch and the RGB values. You can also hit the button and get a really simple V-Ray material or a standard material. To find the paint you are after select the brand from the dropdown box and start typing.

If you have other paint brands you would like added to it just let me know and I will do my best to get them in there.

Cheers,

Dave

Hi Guys,

Just a quick update. I have been super busy with work so updates have been slow. There was an issue with download links a while ago but they have since been corrected.

Cheers,
Dave

Found!

Sweet! Found (I think) exactly what you need to add Sherwin Williams colors:

https://www.sherwin-williams.com/wcm/idc/groups/public/@swpublic/@sherwi...

Will that work? It's in PDF format. I've attached the file in case you have any trouble with the link. This is seriously an awesome script! GJ!

Those paints should not be a problem to add. The next release I will put the script in .mzp so it installs itself. New release should be in the next day or so.

Paint Samples

This is the link to Farrow & Ball and Kelly Hoppen Paint samples...
They are small selections. I don't know if this is what you mean.

http://www.farrow-ball.com/colours/paint/fcp-category/list

I still cannot install the Script without an error (Max 2015).
I have emailed you about what I must do.

Thanks for your trouble.

I am happy to add any paint

I am happy to add any paint brand so long as I can find an index of the their paints, paint codes and RGB values. I have written a couple html scapers to get this data in the past or scripts to go through the data in a PDF etc. If you are able to post some links to specific "lists" of paints and paint codes I am happy to add them.

Cheers,
Dave
