this script is possibility to change a bitmap name and delete and other thing for current Max scene.
you can choose select mode that All, select Object and Missing Map.

hi there,
i have have used your script for a while and i think it s a great starting point but it can do alot better.

i would like to ask if can you modify your script like in the scenario below.

user, select one object in the scene. rename it to table_01-00.
then i run this imaginary script. the script takes the actions below.

changes the material name of that object as:
table_01-00
changes the the bitmap files of that object as:
table_01-00_diffuse.jpg
table_01-00_bump.jpg
table_01-00_spec.jpg
table_01-00_opac.jpg
table_01-00_ref.jpg.
list goes on as long as there is an assigned map in each slot.

ofcourse, the bitmap paths are updated aswell, like your current script's "change map" feature.

that will do great imo. please tell me what you think.

OK! working with multiSub

OK! working with multiSub object material now!! Can I have batch rename for all map in scene and had some add number after map name(like rename in max), and activate by button!!

hehehehe too much maybe!!
Honestly i've been waiting this script for long time since the first coming!

is this support multimaterial ! I already Tried your script long time ago and always return error if map in multimaterial! BTW i'll tried it today and give some report to you soon!
