With this script you can fast and easy setup skin Envelopes for your character or other object that has skin modifier.

Additional Info: 

 

Description: Six big buttons on the sides of the script window lets you select corresponded Cross Sections or End Points. Three buttons on center with L-word lets you lock radius value of the left and right Cross Sections. Spinners near this Selection Buttons will change radius directly. Spinners near End Points Selection Button will change Inner and Outer radius of the Cross Section together. Also, when you lock EndPoints, End Points of the Envelope will moves together! Two small buttons in bottom left corner allows you change the active bone in skin modifier list back and forward directly.

Installation: Simply Drag&Drop "SkinEnvelopeManipulator.mzp" in MAX viewport or run it from "MAXScript" --> "Run Script". After that you can find it in "Customize" --> "Customize User Interface...", in "Main UI" Group, "MikeMS" Category. Now, you can add that script to a toolbars, quads or link it to a shortcut and so on...

Version Requirement: 
Created and tested in MAX 2008. But also works in max 9.

Thank you Mike. Very usefull script.
I think its can be good if you add "S" button for "synchronization(same values)" of both - start and end point radius.
And.. check notes popups over the buttons, they all "Left".
