Crash speedometer .ini
Hi Josef,
I'm still getting this problem of not being able to write to c:\..\max2018\speedometer.ini
I'm running you speedometer021_SF.ms first by drag and drop then trying to run speedometer afterwards. GUI pops up but when I try to set units to something other than meter, I get the crash.
Thank you!
There are errors
There are some errors in units conversion. I have not checked all the values but one of them when you have system units in Centimeters (1 Generic Unit) and try to show Distance Units in Feet it shows incorrect value. The result has to be divided by 10000. I used this script as a reference for my script but when I found errors I had to use another conversion values. Here is my script:

Speedometer v0.21 Fix
Thank you so much Josef. You are fantastic!
Crashbug is now fixed ...
Hi Cisco
As promised i updated the script to use regular ini file settings now, which fixed the crash you experienced. As i cannot edit Bobo's post, i put the download link here in the comments and will send a notification to bobo, maybe he finally updates the original post
How to use:
After you ran the new script once ( or opened in maxscript editor and pressed evaluate) your macroscript should be updated. Buttons, menu entries etc.. should catch the new version than, at least after a Max restart

Bobo's Speedometer Maxscript crashes in 3DS Max 2015
I've been successfully using Bobo's speedometer script since he first created it. Now, after upgrading to Max 2015, the script crashes Max EVERY TIME I run it!
Has anyone else had this problem?
