Drag and drop copies indeed the file to the Usermacros folder :)
Or am I missing anything?

If a file is initially as mcr, after drag & drop to the viewport, it is not copied to the folder "usermacros". And then drag & drop file .ms - it will be copied to usermacros as mcr.

If you would publish it as an MCR, then people would still be able to drag-drop it into Max, would they not? I am asking to understand better.. :)

There is something I wonder about. Why do you use the extension .ms when in fact it is an MacroScript?
Does max behave different if I would drag-drop an .ms file than if it was an .mcr file?
