hi great script.......

vray 2.2 - small fix

onodi.andras · 2012-09-10

We had a problem using vray 2.20. and max 2011. If there was an ies light in the scene, the macroscript didn't work. I figured out it was the "Use Light Shape" part that didn't work. If anyone else has the same problem get this file, until 3dzver gets back with a real solution. :)

Excellent scrip but....

Proguard · 2012-06-06

This is by far one of the most useful scripts for max i have ever used. I have a problem though with Vray 2 and max 2012. It does not recognize or display vray ies light. The MAX Script Rollout Handler Exception window pops up with an error saying "--Type error: checked: requires BooleanClass, got:2"

Is there a change for a fix to this. Other than ies lights it works perfectly.

Thanks a lot

need update for Vray 2 and max 2012 Please

niighthawk · 2012-06-03

Light listener for 1.5 sp5

paranoidx · 2011-09-12

Hi bro,

Is there chance for a sp5 ?

Vray 2.0 seem a bit slower than expected so we have to downward.

yhcnils · 2010-08-18

I'm not always using vray so it could be usefull adding it in the script.

cecofuli · 2010-08-17

You can find this option in the VRay: Global Switches.
Anywa, in VRay 2.0 we will have something like new "VRay advanced Light listener" directly from Chaosgroup :)

yhcnils · 2010-08-17

Is there any way to add a button to switch all lights on and off.

Thx in advance
Nils

pressenter · 2010-07-09

Hello,

can't get this running with 3ds 2011 x64 and sp5. Any chance for a recompile?

Take care
Simon.

mustafa mamdouh · 2010-05-01

pifitas · 2010-04-13

One of the best additions for 3dsmax around

MAXTools · 2010-03-18

Hi all!
I have added the recompiled version for 3dsmax2009 and 3dsmax2010 for VRay 1.5 SP4a.
Good luck!

2 yhcnils:
Yes. In this version I have made a field "Name" more widely (look a screenshot above).

yhcnils · 2010-02-24

Great lightlister replacement. However I'd love to see the name fields a little wider.

Is that possible?

thx in advance,
Nils

lawchin · 2010-02-24

Llister for 3dsmax2010?

ok I'll wait.

pifitas · 2010-02-14

Correct me if I'm wrong but seems attached files have not been updated on 2010-02-13

macroscript file size is the same I've already installed on max 2008...

what about adding "ABOUT" or "VERSION" in your script window?

BTW Nice work I use it everyday

thank you!

ec · 2009-12-26

Hi 3dzver. Thanks for making this great tool. Any news about a 2010 version?
ec

lawchin · 2009-10-22

this is a very usefull. I'll comeback again and check out for Macro Lightlister for max 2010. Thanks very much.

emptyvoxel · 2009-09-30

I think there are quite a few of us who would love to see this recompiled for Max 2010. I used it every day in 2009.
Thanks!

rmejia · 2009-06-06

Will this work with Max 2010 ?

MAXTools · 2009-06-06

No, this script only for 2008 and for 2009.
For 2010 I will write after a while.

MAXTools · 2009-10-11

I inform for those who on an armored train :)

This LightLister correctly works with V-Ray 1.5 SP2-SP3 and 3dsmax 2008-2009 (x32/x64)!

This screenshot is taken from V-Ray 1.5 SP3 3dsmax2008x32:

1. Check up that the script file corresponded to your 3dsmax version:

  • Macro_LightList_2008.rar --> 3dsmax 2008
  • Macro_LightList_2009.rar --> 3dsmax 2009

2. And check up correctness of installation:

"Copy the included Macro_LightList.mcr file into the UI\MacroScripts folder located in your 3DS Max installation folder. You will need to restart Max after installing."

yudArt · 2009-03-26

I 've been Try it but on the lightlist,Vray light Can't detected. why??T_T

danb4026 · 2009-04-19

My vray light lister will not detect vrayIES or photometric lights. Any reason this won't work with vray SP3?

keng142 · 2008-11-30

thank you very much krub

rmejia · 2008-10-29
