A very simple tool that records Point Cache file for a selection of objects in specific folder .

Another script included in my tool was created by Swordslayer and posted on 6 June 2012 10:49 am in Area.com , here is hos post Link:

Cool script!

Cool script! Works well, thank you!

Please tell me if it can be improved, add several functions?
1. If the script show the name of the material applied to the selected object?
2. it turns out a lot of lines with different information that someone does not need, but someone needs. Can I create a separate window with checkboxes that can be used to disable unnecessary lines?
3. In this separate window you can configure the location of the records. Now they appear at the bottom right of the Pivot Point. With the help of an additional shift, they could be placed where it is convenient.

In any case, thank you, it already helps!

Old stuff but good!

Hi, pretty happy with how this has automated my workflow with an animation with a bunch of rigged things moving - if you ever have the patience to do a small change, I'd opt to have either xml MC cache or PC2 - If you are working through a slow network, the 1st option is a ball breaker, while the preload options of the PC2 may be a life saver when you're having to scrub the anim ;)
Thank you anyway, good work!

Thanks,
ZM
