Relink Bitmaps

Relink Bitmaps is a script to easily relink all missing files (Bitmaps, VRayMeshes, Mental Ray Proxies, VRayHDRI, IES, etc) when they change directories or when you move computers, check out the short video tutorial below for more detailed information.

Unlike some other scripts of its kind, this is free!  There is a small donation link within the script if you choose to donate, I will remove the nag.  It is a simple licensing system, that does not force you to transfer network cards or be connected to the internet and will work with all versions of Max that are supported by the script.  If you choose to donate I'll be more than happy to license multiple computers as well.

Features:

[*] All 3dsmax supported Bitmap Texture types
[*] (new) Relinks Mental Ray Proxy files
[*] (new) Relinks VRay Proxies (.vrmesh)
[*] (new) Relinks VRayHDRI files
[*] (new) Relinks IES files (including VRayIES files)
[*] (new) Automatically checks for script updates and new versions
[*] 250% speed increase from previous versions
[*] Command-line mode available for automating repetative tasks (see documentation on the website)
[*] Configurable default user options saving button clicks and wasted time

World-Space to Local Animation

1 vote

Bakes an objest's World-Space/Space Warp animation to a copy, using local Point Cache modifier. Then you can apply local modifers on top to continue animating the object's deformation locally.

Note: this is a preliminary version. It saves always a temporary .xml file for the Point Cache, wich you can rename, relocate and reload, to preserve it. In future versions, this could be set at the script’s UI by the user.

Compatible with 3dsMax 2012 and higher.

Sculpt Fixing

Sculpt fixing is a tool for 3ds Max that lets you sculpt any object that uses a Point Cache modifier. The Point Cache modifier allows you to store modifier and sub-object animation to a disk file that records changes in vertex positions. If you are using an imported Point Cache modifier on a model to play back the animation and you need to sculpt it, Sculpt Fixing is an intuitive and easy-to-use tool that will save you time.

Combine

This tool is derivated from EchOoo and Multimesher,

I have it since I released these two tools and use it a lot in production, so I think it’s gonna be useful for you.

It’s very helpful to combine multiple animated meshes into one, without loosing their animations and deformations.

Hello there,

I'm back after long time with a new script about file retargeting. If you try it, let me know what you think.

See the video for more (sorry for the bad sound).

A small tool for Point Cache automation. Easy way to cache out all selection objects at once. Also ability to load cache files automatically on selected objects by name or load one cache file onto many objects. A few other things as well. Watch the video tutorial.

USAGE
Working with hundreds of rippling objects that carry complex modifier stacks can be slow. Why not point cache the first object and then simply offset the timing of the rest? This small script was developed during internal animation tests at Digital Kitchen to expedite the creation of time-delayed animations.

INSTRUCTIONS
Create an object and apply a point cache modifier to it.
Duplicate that object around your scene
