AdjustRenderWidth for Vray

1 vote

It is a script inspired by the script of Martin Breidt "overscan" http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/overscan and explained by Peter Guthrie.

It is useful when you have a vray camera and you want to extend the view for example a bit to the left without changing the perspective. The calculation is pretty simple but you can save time and confusion using this script.

Frankly the default 3dsMax render settings bug me. They don't deal with modern cameras. The proxy settings are hard coded and can't be changed. There's no easy way to create over-scanned frame without a calculator. So I've written my own tool to fix these problems.

Tweak Camera Dialog

There several rollouts in this tool, each dealing with a separate task.

This useful tool let you set different levels of quality of the rendering: very low, low, medium, high, very high and perfect. With the new buttons you can create quickly a studio setup for design objects. You can choose a size of output too in order to create in few clicks any kind of render (study, production, fun, etc). I hope you like it.
You can also create passes in vray for compositing: Ambient occlusion, matte pass, vray toon, wireframe, clay render, ghost render (like evermotion's pdf), ghost-wireframe together.
