That is true mwaif. By default it still creates extra geometry. It was originally designed like that because the production called for it.
I can modify it if the community calls for it.

I have worked as a welder/plater for 10 years so i think options for: concave, convex and flat weld is essential. :)
Option to avoid intersecting dup. objects ("Extra Geometry") wold also be nice :)

When you weld with "bump
When you weld with "bump type: none" , extra geometry is created. Other two options does not create extra geometry. I wonder if this is intended.
