This script is posted with permission of Charley Carlat. The new updated PF Spliner creates not only animated splines per particle, but one animated spline per particle system (and has support for Thinking Particles thanks to JB Haywood and Johnny Random).
Spline Per Particle creates the trajectory of each particle, and with the addition of JBHaywood allows animated growth of the spline.
Spline Per System creates one spline for the whole particle system, connecting the knots by the particle hierarchy. Great for creating the illusion of one wire network "controlling" the particles. Does not work with continously emitting particles.

*Attention* Spline Per System only works with a static number of particles, you cannot continue to emit particles and create "one" animated spline out of that.
There is a slight error with Animated Growth, it collapses all knots down to frame 0, even for particles that are birthed later. Anyone is welcome to fix this and update it to v4.2.
V-MOTION also has code for random hierarchy Spline Per System. Anyone interested and willing to implement this in the script is welcome to do so. Just email [email protected].
