Bakes particle flow particles into meshes and/or helpers.

NOTE: This script bakes only the viewport particles, so in order to get the amout of particles set in your system, set the viewport count to 100%.

  • Changed the way the particles are baked into point cache. It is now much faster using this method.

Integration steps on bake

When baking the particles, I know the Quantity Mulitplier must be set to
100%, but when you bake, should the Viewport Integration Step be set to 1/8 frame, or does the Bake read from the Render Integration Step?

great but...

Hello Ofer - this is a very handy script! But I get an error now when I try to store visibility info. It says "bakedTransObj" error and points to line

k.inTangentType = k.outTangentType = #Step

I think it doesn't like Step, but what does that mean?

I'm on Max 2012 x64

Many thanks for the script.

doesnt bake all animation

This is very useful script, but when I created particles from geometry with BirthScriptMeshToParticles, baked animation looks, like is not all or that baked mesh is litle bit rotated. Thanks a lot for advice.
