Radiosity Quickbar

6 votes

A macroscript which produces a space-saving floater that allows you to start/stop/reset the radiosity solution - and change the meshing size. Has a progress bar to show you how far the solution has got - but it doesn't always seem to update on heavy scenes.

Brazil Buddy

Brazil Buddy is at it simplest - a preset manager. It is also a look-development and test rendering assistant. It will let you access almost all of the settings in Brazil that can cause a render to take longer and adjust those settings. These settings can be temporarily used in a test render - commited to the scene - or stored in one of six preset slots.

Preview to RAM player tools

2 votes

This one is two scripts - one to create and one to play. All the player will do is bring up the create preview dialog and after creating the preview - will ask whether you wish to view the preview in the RAM player. As for the player - well - I know other people have created the same script - but... well... I thought I'd make my own version (and I suddenly can't think why).

Quick Mask Object

4 votes

Renders a quick pass of whatever objects you have selected in 100% self illuminating white - with everything else in the scene black. Useful for creating quick masks or mattes to use in Photoshop. Simply select the objects - and push the button. Note: This script uses hold and fetch to restore your scene - and will ask to fetch after each use. Simply click yes to continue.
