Viewport Helper
Submitted by Adam Biles on Fri, 2006-10-20 19:45.This is a simple script to help viewport controls when working in max.I have tested it with max 8 but i don't see why it should not work in versions below. This script opens up a dialog to help switch between the different views without hotkeys - and using the drop down menu - i have now added more buttons for faster work.
QuickMaximize
Submitted by Roger Hyde on Fri, 2006-10-20 19:45.Okay - so there's already a shortcut to maximize the active viewport. But not to maximize whatever viewport happens to be under the mouse...at least not until now! Migratory Maya users should find this one comforting.
Copy Viewport to Clipboard
Submitted by Christopher Grant on Fri, 2006-10-20 19:45.Simply copies your selected viewport to the clipboard. Great for quickly getting a viewport grab into photoshop - or if bandwidth doesn't matter - getting an uncompressed image pasted into your email client.
Viewport BG Switcher
Submitted by Sam O'Hare on Fri, 2006-10-20 19:45.A little interface for loading images and setting them as viewport backgrounds. Hit 'Load' to add images - and 'Remove' to remove them. 'Apply' sets an image as the viewport background - 'View' lets you view the image - and 'Dialog' brings up the max background dialog. The list of images does not save with the scene in max7 unfortunately.
viewportControl
Submitted by Neil Blevins on Fri, 2006-10-20 19:45.Lets you control the view you're currently seeing in the viewport in a handy dialog box.
SRV
Submitted by Roger Hyde on Fri, 2006-10-20 19:45.Stevie Ray Vaughn? No - it's Save/Restore Views (sorry - blues fans!)! Lets you store any perspective or user view and recall it at any time. Stored views are saved with the scene.
Viewport Grabber
Submitted by Andre Hotz on Fri, 2006-10-20 19:45.This script lets you grab the currently active Viewport and save the images. You can set a timer to grab sequences - or turn on AutoGrab - which will grab the viewport every time you change something.
