CAT Pose Grabber

A panel to support CAT rigs which allows temporary storage and retrieval of a single or muliple poses. Poses are not named and there is no management of them. The idea is that you simply want to grab a pose (or several) and use it immediately, without dealing with names or folder structures for fluid workflow. Poses saved are stored as files and are thererfore persistent unless overwritten using the script store functions.

Features include:
- Supports multiple CAT rigs in the same scene. You can even transfer poses from one rig to another.

This is an update for an oldie but a goodie,

 

This is an oldie but a goody. Put simply, it is a script that will open 3ds Max material maps in photoshop. I use it in my quad menu. If photoshop isn’t open, then it will open it for you. The previous version used a hard old school search for image maps used
in your materials, before opening them in photoshop. This version uses
the max class dependencies to get all bitmaps used in a material.

Multi Map Loader

Loads multiple files from a folder into your choice of available materials & maps. Then puts the new created materials to the material library.

ObjLoader is used to load sequence obj files.

*Fixed some bugs of buffer and add rotation offset function.

Load Material Library from path

Select a path where all you material files are. Click the pull-down menu and select a material library, it will automatically load in the material browser. This is a macroscript, after running the script you will find it in the "3idee Tools" category.

AutoBack File Loader Zorb

*v1.31 - Bug fixes, removed error on opening on some max versions

Tired of navigating to the autoback dir, selecting view as detail then sorting by date to find your latest autobak file. then comparing it to your last good saved file? This script will make it easy for you. Brings up a list of max files in your autobak dir, max hold files and your last opened file, sortable by date, size and name. Double clicking will load the file, right clicking will give you a delete option.Sort settings and files displayed are saved between sessions

Unzip to your Max root dir, will be available in macroscripts under "Zorb Tools", or run it as a script from the scrips directory

Henriqvist's Hand Poses

Script developed to enhance the speed of animating hands. You can save a lot of poses and then load it anytime you want. OBS1: It only saves position and rotation, scale information is not stored. OBS2: You cannot use position or rotation list in the controllers, but you can use float list.

XRef Scenes update

I experienced problem with updating XRefs scenes during main scene load. I can hit "Update Now" button on workstation but I can't do this during renderfarm rendering. This script forces XRefs update during main scene load. It should be installed on every single render node. I expreienced this problem at 3ds Max ver 9, script was tested on ver. 2009 also (will propably work at v. 2008). Problem disappeared at 3dsMax 2010.

Frankenstoy ImagePlaneRef

Tool to create planes of reference for modeling and can also upload images in a pop-up window. The script has a menu to load images, front and side, creating planes based on measurements of the loaded images. The script has an installer that already puts the files in the correct places, only indicate the path of the installation folder of 3ds Max

G-Buffer ID

4 assistant operations for effects tasks which required G-Buffer ID's.
All of them works on selection or all scene objects and support Undo.
Plus Load/Save to log file to backup and restore your G-Buffer ID's settings.
Save also works on selected or all scene objects.
Only Load ops not support Undo.
