MeshSmooth Controls

MeshSmooth Controls is a script for 3DS Max that allows you control over the meshsmooth modifier similar to XSI and other packages. With it you can control the iterations of the meshsmooth modifier on one or multiple objects at once - without leaving your current place in the stack.

Floater that allows you to scale an object or selection of objects based on their bounding box dimensions. Great for making sure pieces fit together exactly if you are working with game geometry - or just checking to see what the dimensions of your object/objects are.

Basicly this is a personal script wich I made to speed up extruding and UVW mapping. This could be a useful script for people who draw splines in AutoCAD and extrude them in MAX. The properties that you can copy are: material - modifier(s) and z-position.

  • Shows offended material - optionally searches all local and network drives for the bitmap - and can load the materials with missing maps into Material Editor.
  • Fuzzy Scan - the script can now find bitmaps with slightly different names as possible replacement options.

PatchMesh

Mesh primitive that behaves similat to the Patch Grid. Point helpers are used as handles, which means animating them or using wire paramaters with them is easy. Linking the helpers to another parent would break it, though, so if you want to do something like that, use constraints instead (Link constraint or Position constraint depending on what you want to achieve).
