Project Manager -the utility for cataloging and use 3d models,materials, IES,HDRI & etc..
It help you with cataloging and using in your projects of a bitmaps, library of models and materials, also IES and HDRI files.
For more convenient job with libraries all information is presented in the thumbnails view.
The utility supports the viewing of all image formats supported by 3ds Max(Such as HDRI,EXR,TGA,PSD and more).

Changes for Project Manager v.2.18.11:

  • Adds the ability to display all files from subdirectories.
  • Adds the ability to store selected items in the history navigation.
  • Fixes a minor issue with displaying the items when search.
  • Fixed a bug with "Translate Paths ..." with option "Include output paths".
  • Fixed a bug with relinking asset files with option "Rename File on Hard Drive".
  • Fixed a minor issue with relinking.
  • Fixed an issue with slowly getting additional information about image in 3ds max 2016.

  • Attempted to support Octane Render, but the way they are exposing their custom map types like Image_Texture are not in line with any other plugin I’ve seen, if you want Octane support, it’d be best to contact them on their forums or email directly to help me resolve the issue, they were unhelpful when I attempted to contact them to resolve this.  My forum name on Octane forums is colinsenner.

Relink Bitmaps is a script to easily relink all missing files (Bitmaps, VRayMeshes, Mental Ray Proxies, VRayHDRI, IES, etc) when they change directories or when you move computers, check out the short video tutorial below for more detailed information.

Unlike some other scripts of its kind, this is free!  There is a small donation link within the script if you choose to donate, I will remove the nag.  It is a simple licensing system, that does not force you to transfer network cards or be connected to the internet and will work with all versions of Max that are supported by the script.  If you choose to donate I'll be more than happy to license multiple computers as well.

Save Increment

This code saves, and find the LAST SEQUENCE number in the file name to automatically increment.
This works especially with names with suffix after the sequence number.

OK, tell me that you use TotalCommander. I can not work without him. With this script I made contact with a TotalCommander. This is RightClickMenu which has quick access to the locations of key files (loaded maxfile, render file location, material maps).
The script search only for x64 version of TotalCommander.

3DS Max File Version

This VB-compiled tool serves just to test which version of Max was used to create the saved Max file. Since 3DSMax doesn't do a good job at writing its version in the file's properties - I use this tool to find out what version it was created in so I can go back to the proper 3DSMax to edit the file.

If you have multiple versions of Max installed and want to know what version you used on an old project - use this tool to find out.

Maxfiles Browser

A list browser used to display maxfiles using one of three methods which you can open or merge from:
# SCENE Method; displays maxfiles in the currently open maxfile folder path.
# FOLDER Method; displays maxfiles based on user defined folder paths stored in an INI file.
# TEXT Method; displays maxfiles based on a list of user specified maxfiles (full-path required) stored in a text file.

Simply select a maxfile from the relevant list and click Open or Merge down the bottom.

Load Multiple Bips

I created this script to speed up my daily work with crowd animation. If you have a lot of character studios rigged bipeds and need to load the same animation (walk loops, conversation...) on all of then, so this script might help you.

It's a .mzp file that you can just drag and drop into 3ds Max or run through the MAXscript menu. After that you will find the script at: Customize > Customize User Interface > Toolbars tab > Category: MMScripts > Load Multiples Bips".

To use the script you just need to:

"This macroscript is a replacement for the save function. It saves incremental file versions while keeping the name of the latest - most-up-to-date version always the same as the original file. This is good for XRef'ing because the filename does not change. Just add it to your File menu and/or define Ctrl+S as shortcut.
