update v1.01: should work fine in 2011/2012 now.

update 93b: the projection plane now resizes and sticks to the background when changing the focal length.

A tool to help speed up the workflow for 3d modelling using image reference.

Projector creates a projection image and a camera. The controls allow you to quickly change the camera focal length and the projection distance scale etc. so that you can align images to a model and quickly match the perspective.

ShiftAnim

This simple script shift the animations for all selected geometry object, and make it loop within the current animation range. You can ask an exact amount, or randomize the decal for each object.

time slider control

this tool drags time slider without mouse clicking.
I made this because I feel pain in my wrist while dragging time slider.
and this can prevent scratch at the bottom part of your tablet if you use tablet for animation.

KMLparser

Import and export shapes from and to Google Earth. Use the KML file format to exchange geo-referenced shapes and keep the correct locations on the globe.

mental ray Proxy Manipulator

Working with mental ray proxies can be very tedious. As they are used for vegetation alot, the need for variation is there, to make it look believable. This script gives you options to vary scale and all animations aspects of all selected mr proxies. It also has a minimized version where you can quickly change the viewport resolution of your proxies, helping to speed up the viewport alot.

Align Spline

  • Snap on shape : just snap each vertex to the closest position on the shape
  • Regular : equally repartition of the vertex on the shape
  • Move on sel center : the shape is moved to the center of the selection
  • This script works with closed or open shapes.

    With this script you can get useful information that is displayed on viewport. Includes:

    - The time from the last save.

    - Last Render Time. For me is quite comfortable at any moment to know the render time.

    - Render Settings. You can choose which render parameters to visible in viewport to control them without open render setup dialog.
