Universal Material Converter

This Universal Material Converter is an enhanced version of the old AMC script. It convert materials between renderengines. It converts from Autodesk Materials and also converts textures as much as possible when needed.
Currently supported renderengines are: MentalRay, V-Ray, iRay, Corona, Scanline, FStorm, ART, Arnold, Octane, Redshift (beta)
Coming up: Maxwellrender (maybe)

You will need at least have a demo version of the renderengines installed if you want to be able to support conversions.

Mirror Transform X Controller

An MCG transform controller which mirrors another object's transformations across the X axis.

Includes a script which assigns the controller to all objects selected, and picks each corresponding mirrored object. Useful if you have a rig that is symmetrical and want to quickly mirror an animation.

MCG DNA

Simple DNA structure.

Includes a Max scene file with colour coded nucleotides (pls extract Max file from ver 1.00)

ver 1.01: Fixed lookat. Now if the DNA strand is moved around, the letters will adjust to lookat target.

ver 1.02: the DNA strands are now quads

 Summary:
Prevents excessive popup dialogs ( object xref system units mismatch, missing plugins ) during scene load. Especially usefull for 3ds Max 2016+, as xref'd scenes with different system unit settings now open a popup dialog for each file.

Maya-like Time Slider

I've always liked animating in Maya and missed the time slider toolbar you have there. I quickly recreated something similar for 3dsMax. It's not identical or perfect, but it works. I would love for it to lock and scale to match 3dsMax own Timeline/slider, but it sticks to the bottom of the screen and should work for most resolutions.

VRayMtl Opacity

This tool allows you to quickly change Opacity Mode of VRay Material on selected objects. It would help a lot to optimize any kind of material with opacity map.

Brushify

Brushify is a new scripted modifier that will let you clean up geometry to export as a brush (world geometry) for the Source Game Engine. Primarily, this modifier is for Wall Worm users who are making levels for the Source Engine inside 3ds Max.

• Snap All Vertices to the World Grid

• Set Cap Material ID
• Turn Concave Polys to Convex Polys (if they are Quad Polys)
