Yeah 2 in 1. By giving this MCG for free, it may compromise my other products that are for sale...so have a little respect and don't make me lose faith in humanity. The DCP Preset you should use is Vu_SweatMap (video used Vu_MCGSelPAssthru, it's the same...)

Extract Preset to:

C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\2017 - 64bit\ENU\en-US\plugcfg\DataChannelPresets

Then in your DCM, load it as a Preset.

Virtual GI

This little script, allows to simulate the Global Illumination outside.
Simply, a light sphere is created about to an object selected to simulate the bounce of the ray in the object.
Used for a little job, it was very useful to preview some short animations in "Virtual GI" using the render Scanline engine with very short times for the rendering! Optimum to illuminate integer scenes outdoor with a hot and suffused light.

 - Update the camera list at the touch of a button

 - Assign Production or ActiveShade rendering mode

 - Assign a Render Engine to the Render mode that you are in

Hi all.

These are my first scripts and are rediculously simple and obvious, but should be quite handy, if like me, on the odd occasion due to tight deadlines and final renders having to be sent, you forget to turn off the bone objects of your character studio bipeds and they render in the scene. A re-render is required and there's no time left.....doh!

Here begins my MaxScripting journey.....wish me luck!

Script makes simple room from rectangular or custom spline. It's designed for 1-sided walls and the same shape is used for floor, ceiling, plinth and cornice.
