Corona Proxy Switcher

Select a bunch of objects and put unique nodes to a specified directory as separate max files with the related Corona-Proxy data saved next to it.
Istance copies will be replaced with the new CProxy object.
Get previously saved objects back to max whenever you wish.

This is a helper script for my AdvArray modifier for 3ds max to give users some preset setups for common array patterns.

This is just the preliminary release, i'll be adding more and updating the script as time goes on. please let me know if you have any suggestions for presets that make sense.

Simple tools for working with splines in 3dsMax.

These tools includes:

  • -Selection filtering *Select only closed *Select only open 
  • -Clean up *Convert to spline and perform overlapping points weld.
  • -Close all *Close all splines
  • -Set points to corner/smooth/bezier/bezierCorner *Sub-object level sensitive
  • -Select by length *Select and sort splines by input length
  • -Sort *Detach open splines
  • -Explode *Explode shape object to splines (not segments)
  • -VArranger *Arrange selected splines by input z values and optionaly create a surface. Used to create terrain from drawing.

Create block or buildings from splines with slabs. This script may create undesired results so use it carefully. Edit the closed splines to redefine the blocks

Fast Architecture

Fast Architecture generates an architectural structure through a custom procedural mesh object, you can change parameters and watch the results in real time. Corona Fix Albedo

Checks scene materials for diffuse colors average value brighter than 230 and does and iteration of lowering red green and blue by 5. This does not affect hue and saturation only luminance. Pops out message to show which materials are fixed. Should be run several times until no message appears. This means no more materials with bright albedo have been detected. Works fast and stable but is quite rude on interface - sorry. Use on your own risk. Does not affect textures with bright albedo that have been used as diffuse.

Fstorm camera from view

f storm camera from view, creates fstorm camera, and a standard one from view then switches from standard camer to fstorm.. you can do this manually but we got scripts..

.mcr file, find under fstorm category add to toolbar or .ms file drag and drop onto max viewport, or open .ms file and drag drop the selected content onto the toolbar and it will create a button for you

3DS Max- Freestyle Rigging Toolkit

I created this script for my Masters project at Bournemouth University. It allows you to create almost any rig in a modular fashion by simply drawing points and creating rig modules in between them.

It also has features for space switching, animation geometry and some hard coded deformation systems for the hip and shoulder.

Smooth to Prevalent Smoothing Group

Works in face sub-object level of editable polygon base objects.
Assigns the prevalent smoothing group found within the current selection of faces to the entire selection of faces (removing any other smoothing groups).

Feel free to modify as you like.

This Script opens as Floater Window. You can randomize within min max ranges the position/rotation/scale of one or more selected objects.
You can work in absolut or relative mode for the Position and Scale Values.
The Rotation works in absolut with Quaternions around the local axis and in relativ with euler angles set as properties for each axis.
