A small script that helps you copy objects in SketchUp, and paste them directly in 3dsMax, with the origin and texture preserved. It will make your SU>MAX workflow a lot faster, especially for people who like to model on SketchUp.

Warning: this script can cause sudden crashes when used incorrectly (mostly in SketchUp), so please read the user manual carefully before using it. You will be fine if you use it properly.

Fix Shapes Normal (Orientation/Extrude Direction)

Small Scripts to fix the Normal of selected shapes (Exrtude Direction)  .

- Select Shapes to Fix .

- Run the Script .

- One LeftClick on any Surface to get the Normal from it , then RightClick to Exit .

Another Script Added to Auto Fix Shapes Orientation .

* If you have 3d Curved Shape its better to use the First Script to do Manual Fix .

Render to Texture Selected

Batch render to texture script ready for game engines. Bakes all selected objects or groups with one click, saves baked UV textures into a directory, and replaces materials on the objects! If you select a group, it attaches all group members together and bakes it as a single object. Each selected object will have its own texture as well as a group. Output standard material will have a white diffuse color (necessary for some game engines such as Unity3D).

Simple Script to Create Box from Selected Vertices (You can use it as snap reference)
The Box Rotation Depends on the Current Coordinate System :
- local , Parent , Node.Transform .
- other than that it'll use the view system .
- it works with (Poly,Mesh) Objects or Modifiers , and shapes (will be Converted to editable Spline) .
The Created Box Name will be "Box_Helper" placed in Layer Called "Snap_Helpers" .

Viewport Navigation Scripts

A series of scripts that lets you rotate/turn the viewport left/right/up/down/clockwise/counterclockwise to the nearest side in that direction (with or without rotation animation). Also lets you snap the viewport rotation to the nearest side like seen in ZBrush, or align the viewport to selected components normals.
