Align Pivot To Knot | Vertex


With this simple script you can easily place selected object pivot (Spline or Geometry) on selected knot (segment) or selected vertex (edge, poly).

Autodesk_Map to Bitmaptexture

Looks for Autodesk_Map textures in Standard materials and converts them to BitmapTexture instead. Autodesk_Map maps often exist in Revit imports.

AutoMatAssigner script assign material and black
wire color for each new object created.
The material assign is the material editor first slout.
The script is designed to help the artist on the creating process
by emphasize the wirecolor and polygons from the objects.
To use it - run the Automat.ms and it will run as long as 3ds max open.

A script that selects all "Ring" edges between two selected ones.

Installation: Drag-n-Drop the mzp file in 3ds max. Press the Install button. Go to Customize-Customize User Interface-miauu category.

I wanted to create a script to visualize the `Rule of Thirds` inside the 3ds Max Viewport, to aid in the composition of my camera shots. Inspired by this script I also added some other overlay options. The lines inside the viewport are drawn as a kind of render effect, so no geometry is created and no camera is needed. They will interactively adjust to any image aspect and are visible in the active viewport, so switching the viewport will also move the lines there.
